MEET OUR CEO & FOUNDER

When I was 22 with a degree in Organizational Leadership, Psychology, and Communication, I had my first experience in counter productive business cultures. I had been working with a major automotive company for 2 weeks, when my boyfriend was assaulted and suffered a traumatic brain injury. I was fired for going to the hospital instead of going to work. Thankfully, my boyfriend recovered – and I discovered my life’s true work.

Since then I’ve made it my mission to transform workplace culture. As a Certified Professional Coach, I’ve trained thousands of people around the world on how to become better leaders, curate high performance teams, and create a thriving company culture in organizations such as Coca Cola and Ernst & Young.

While working as an executive leadership trainer, I observed a problem that small businesses constantly face. The control and command style of managing that is usually part of starting a company, can become a major impediment to growth once the company has reached the next phase. At that point, a different approach to management and company culture are necessary to enable employees to work together effectively and to attract key people for sustained growth.

As a solution to this costly problem, we developed a bottom up approach to fundamentally impact change in company culture. Raise The Bar was founded to help business owners who are passionate about leadership and want to help their employees grow in order to take their companies to the next level. We provide unconventional, powerful and fun solutions to keep employees engaged and productive, so they never say, “Thank God it’s Friday!”

 

MEET OUR CEO & FOUNDER

Our minds are so powerful.

I first realized this when my world was crashing down around me. A friend in the ICU, getting fired from my new job, and feeling at a loss – I realized I had a choice. Instead of being frustrated and cynical, instead of becoming a victim to my situation, instead of pointing fingers, I raised the bar. I began to change the story I was telling myself. I started asking, “What can I learn from this? What can I get out of this?” Once I approached life with curiosity and awareness, once I took control of my story, everything changed for the better.

My work is based one core fact: when we redefine our story, step out of our comfort zones, and explore new ideas, we bring a whole new energy and satisfaction to our lives. My mission is to help you change the story that you’re telling yourself so you can live the life that inspires you, and impact others in the process.

Now, ever since my life was turned upside down, I’ve been hard at work to make my mission a reality. I’m proud to say that my skills and strategies truly work. I have trained thousands of people to get out of their comfort zones, live their life on purpose, and have the courage to follow their heart. I’m Naina Miranda, and I’m Raising the Bar!
